This 4-hour private morning charter takes advantage of the calmer early-day conditions, when the wind is typically lighter and the water is more comfortable for sailing along the coast. Meet your captain and crew at the floating docks next to Tuanis Bar at approximately 7:30 AM. From there, a short panga transfer takes your group out to the catamaran before departing at 8:00 AM. Sail north from San Juan del Sur along an undeveloped stretch of Nicaragua’s Pacific coastline toward Playa Blanca. The journey takes approximately one hour, with opportunities to keep an eye out for dolphins and sea turtles along the way. Trolling fishing can also be arranged on request while cruising. Once at Playa Blanca, the catamaran anchors offshore at a quiet beach away from the crowds. Because the boat cannot come directly onto the beach, guests who want to go ashore must swim a short distance from the catamaran to the sand. The exact distance varies depending on the tide. Guests should be comfortable swimming in open water if they plan to visit the beach. Guests who prefer not to swim can remain aboard, relax with the floats behind the catamaran, or use the paddleboard. Enjoy time at Playa Blanca with paddleboarding, floating, football, frisbee, or simply relaxing aboard before sailing back toward San Juan del Sur for an approximately 12:00 PM return.
